Audio: Srila Govinda Maharaj's message to the devotees over the phone with Madhusudan Prabhu from Hawaii. "When outside devotees want to go to Jagannath Puri, I am happily giving my consent to them, but they must be conscious about their transcendental feelings."
Quoting a sloka he says: "Who will see Jagannath in His chariot, they will never come back to this material feelings or world, they are all going to the transcendental plane."

Puri Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math, Jagannathdev and His Dham - excerpt from Affectionate Guidance. His Divine Grace Srila Bhakti Sundar Govinda Dev-Goswami Maharaj advises the pilgrims about how to see Purusottam Dham. "They will see these places (of the Pastimes of Mahaprabhu and His associates) and try to feel in their heart the mood of union in separation shown by Sriman Mahaprabhu, and they will offer prayers to the associates of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. If they cannot go inside any of the places then they can see these places from outside."
