Sri Krishna Vasant Panchami, the first day of spring the best of all the seasons. The Jamuna River enhances the beauty of Sri Vrindavan Dham increasing the transcendental happiness of the Lord and His devotees.

chaya rtu-gana yahan vasanta pradhana

[Where the six seasons are present, spring is supreme.]

On this beautiful sunny day work begins to permanently affix the flag, chakra and other ornaments to the dome of the mandir.

One of our masons finishes up the details of the new wall surrounding the roof of the mandir.

Sriman Purnananda Prabhu oversees all the work. In the background are the flag and some of the ornaments that will be used.

Lightning rod in hand, Purnananda directs the work going on above.

A multi level scheme takes some to the very top.

Starting at a lower level, this man delivers the goods as he works his way up.

Here's the hand off...

the lift off...

The take off...

[Notice the hole in the wall to support the heavy bamboo scaffolding. Purnananda, anticipating this work, kept these holes for this purpose from the time of the original construction. Now they will be filled in.]

A helping hand stabilizes the mortar as it moves onwards and upwards.

And it's up, up...

and away.

At the very top of the dome the brass features are filled with mortar.

As all yajnas are made successful by the chanting of the Holy Names, so this happy event is exalted by Sri Hari Nama Sankirtan.

With all the elements in place, a garland is offered.

Time to go back to home.

The temple now, in all it's splendor.

The beauty of Sri Vrindavan Dham further embellished by the exquisite Temple of

Sri Sri Guru Gauranga Gandharva Rasabhiharijiu.

A final close up.

Sri Chaitanya Saraswata Matha vara....

"The flag flies high over Sri Caitanya Saraswat Math...."

sakala vaisnavapade mora namaskara,

I respectfully bow to the lotus feet of all the Vaisnavas, praying that there is no offense in this attempt to please them.
