Sri Briddha Siv
Heading towards Paramatala and the Prodamaya Mandir

"There, on the border of Mayapur, Jiva Goswami saw the Briddha Siva Temple. Nityananda explained, "Lord Shiva is the guardian of this holy land of Mayapur. This is the place where his eternal consort Prodamaya is eternally situated. When the Lord leaves this earthly plane, by His wish the Ganges will swell and inundate Mayapur. It shall remain under water for one hundred years, after which the floodwaters shall be withdrawn. No houses will stand there any longer, and thus it shall remain barren for some time. Later, by the will of the Lord, people will again live in Mayapur as before. All these ghats on the banks of the Ganges will again become manifest, and devotees will build temples here. One exceedingly wonderful temple will appear from which eternal service to Sri Chaitanya will be preached everywhere. At that time Prodamaya will return, and by the Lord's will she will perform her duties of revealing His divine abode."
-Sri Nabadwip Dham Mahatmya, Chapter Five

The devotees offer respects to Prodamaya Devi before continuing on to the Dhameswar of Sri Sri Gauranga Mahaprabhu, where Srimati Vishnupriya's own Deity of Sriman Mahaprabhu is worshiped.

Sri Sri Gauranga Mahaprabhu, and the sandals that are said to have been were worn by Mahaprabhu.
"O Jiva, listen to a secret. A beautiful Deity of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, which was originally installed and worshiped by Vishnupriya-devi, will soon come to this holy place, Sat Tika-dhama, where it will be worshiped by brahmana descendants of Jagannath Misra's family. Four years after the advent day of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, the worship of this Deity will be restored to the highest standard."
— Sri Nabadwip Dham Mahatmya, Chapter Five
