New Tractor purchased in China

for our

Soquel Seva Ashram, California

November 2005
Hasyapriya Prabhu sits in the tractor he recently purchased for the service of our Soquel Seva Ashram in California.
Hasyapriya Prabhu travelled all the way to Yancheng, in China, to finalise the purchase of the tractor. Afterwards, he travelled to Central China to meet with Yudhamanyu Prabhu Seva Vikram and Srila Gurudev's disciples there.
The 'back-hoe,' one of the most important attachments, which will be used for digging.
The 'grader' attachment. The 'finish mower' attachment.

Hasyapriya Prabhu has many plans for the tractor in service at the Soquel Seva Ashram. He gives a description of some of the first projects it will be used for:

"We have two projects that the County is requiring us to complete. One is the installation of a fire hydrant in the parking lot with an additional water storage tank. The second is the re-building of the two bridges at both ends of our driveway where the driveway connects with Rodeo Gulch Road. These bridges must be certified to carry the weight of the heavy fire trucks. Both of these projects require extensive tractor and backhoe work. Now we will not need to rent that equipment, since we will have our own. Next Spring, Bahulavan Prabhu will come to help us with those projects and he will also train our devotees (including young Nilamani Prabhu!) on how to use the equipment.

"As money and time permit and with the permission of the County where required, there are many other projects both small and large where we can utilise this equipment in the service of the Soquel Seva Ashram."

The tractor is being shipped to Soquel by sea container and will arrive in January 2006.

The 'bush mower.' The 'log splitter.'
The 'sprayer.' The 'ditching machine.'
