Srila Govinda Maharaj graced the home of Prabhu Amalaharinam and Mahadevi Dasi in Brentwood, a quaint town northeast of London, on Wednesday morning. The family, including the children Nitai Chand Das and young Ganga Devi Dasi, served His Divine Grace and fifteen devotees a sumptuous breakfast of puris, green bean subji, fruit salad, honey, cheese and biscuits. Srila Gurudev commented that the puris, made by Mahadevi Dasi were the best he had tasted in many years.

Sripad Siddhanti Maharaj said Srila Gurudev enjoyed the relaxing car ride to the middle class suburb, which is spotted with brick houses, flowering gardens and tree-lined streets. The pleasantly sunny morning, unusually good weather for the British summertime, reflected the jovial mood of Srila Gurudev and all present.
