NB 'Fast' on Ekadasi or Maha-dvadasi, refers to fasting from grains.
  'Paran' the day after such fasting days, refers to breaking fast with grains, after sunrise (unless otherwise stated) and before a specified time.
  Optional morning fast is observed in honour of prominent Vaisnavas on their appearance and disappearance days.
