The 'Sri Hadai Pandit Padmavati-devi Smrti Kunja' ashram building in Birchandrapur, the current name of Sri Ekachakra Dham.
Many guests arrive for the inauguration of the new ashram on the land of Sree Chaitanya Saraswata Krishnanushilana Sangha.

When the busloads of pilgrims arrive from Nabadwip, the fire yajna ceremony is in progress.
Sripad Acharyya Maharaj leads kirttan as the guests are invited to take a place within the huge tent.

Thanks to modern technology, at 10.00am Srila Gurudev gives a live Skype broadcast to thousands.
His Divine Grace openly glorifies the efforts of Sripad Acharyya Mahraj, who becomes quite abashed.

Almost an hour later, Sripad Acharyya Maharaj takes lead of a sankirttan party.
The party gathers in front of the glorious four-storey ashram and prepares for nagar-sankirttan.

A place associated with Sri Nityananda Prabhu's childhood Pastimes, is located just opposite the front gate.
This location is where the Lord played in the dust as a child, crawling on all fours.

It is certainly a lively kirttan and everybody joins in enthusiastically.
Nobody can contain himself, not even a local dog - he amuses everyone by howling along as best he can!

An entire Temple is submerged under the waters of this pool and deeper underground.
Kirttan pauses only for a moment while Sripad Acharyya Maharaj describes briefly the significance of the spot, and then continues wildly as before.

The trail of people is so long that it is impossible to establish how many have joined the parikrama of Ekachakra Dham.
The highlight of the parikrama is most certanly Sri Nityananda Janmasthan, the actual birthplace of Lord Nityananda Prabhu.
