Much of what we see on our circular path back towards the ashram looks like of another age.
A cowherd watches us go along while he tends his cows on the plains, as he does every day.

Nearer the Janmasthan, street vendors display religious articles of all types.
The occasion of the Divine Appearance day of the holy Lord has drawn large crowds, much activity and buzz.

The parikrama party finally returns to the pristine white building, a mark synonymous with Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math.
Meanwhile some pilgrims sidetrack a litte further right to visit the Pandavas' resting place while in Ekachakra during their exile.

After the parikrama, everybody gathers by the entrance of the building where a red ribbon hangs across the gateway.
Sri Tapan Mukherjee, honourable Chief Justice, who was invited to open the ashram, ceremoniously cuts the ribbon much to the glee of all.

Sri Tapan Mukherjee and his wife are led to the stage beneath the tent, where the programme proceeds.
Following Sripad Acharyya Maharaj, Sripad Tirtha Maharaj also speaks some Hari-katha.

Thousands fill the tent and spill out into the extensive grounds outside.

Several exhalted Vaisnavas onstage listen and observe keenly as Sri Tapan Mukherjee speaks some of the glories of Lord Nityananda Prabhu and this great event.

Jagamohini Didi from USA sets up a book table which soon attracts much interest.
Several police officers are present due to the large numbers at the event, but thankfully there is no trouble to deal with.
