New Calendar of Vaishnava Festival Dates is now available on-line. All dates and times listed here are calculated for Kolkata, India, as referred to at Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math, Sri Nabadwip Dham.
During his 21st World Tour, Srila Bhakti Sundar Govinda Dev-Goswami Maharaj instructed that throughout the world the devotees will follow this calendar for all dates except for Ekadasis and their associated paran (break fast) times which may be calculated locally according to the lunar calendar. In this way the days of Appearance, Disappearance, and other Pastimes of the Lord and His great devotees will be observed on the actual day they took place in India, rather than according to the technical local calculation of the 'tithi' (lunar day) which often had devotees observing, for example, the Appearance of Mahaprabhu a day before He actually appeared here in Nabadwip.

Sri Vaishnava Toshani, today's edition, 'Our Life and Soul' starts:
"We have heard the expression, 'Life and Soul' many times. We realize what it means when the person who truly is our life and soul departs from our vision. Our connection is through seva and that is our only solace."

Srila Gurudev returns to India safe and well. All the devotees of Nabadwip and Kolkata are hugely relieved to receive Srila Bhakti Sundar Govinda Dev-Goswami Maharaj back in India from his 21st World Tour. His Divine Grace appeared well and relaxed as he was welcomed with arati and Sri Guru-puja at the Dum Dum Park Temple. Srila Gurudev then spoke happily and affectionately for forty minutes in Bengali to the gathering.
